3 types of YT channels (and which one to use)
99% of people don't know this...
the worst thing you can do as a beginner is start your YouTube journey with the wrong channel type
yet 99% of people don't even know that this is a thing…
they just create a YouTube channel and start posting…
so they spend all this time and money on their youtube channel
researching niches, dropping loads of cash on editing and trying to create content consistently
but they get nothing from it…
all because they picked the wrong type of channel from the get go
so in this email I'm gonna break down the 3 three channel types that exist
and which one you should actually choose as a complete beginner
monetized channels
these are channels already approved in the youtube partner program with 1k subs and 4k watch hours
they have the highest trust score, which means it's very unlikely to get shadowbanned.
you can start earning money right away which is nice if you wanna move fast.
(be carful who you buy from // I get them personally from here)
but there's a cap to it…
1st, they're expensive as hell.
like $400-600 for a good one.
and 2nd, there's a huge risk that the channel has sketchy origins, so it could get demonetized or even terminated
which messes up your whole google reputation.
so this one is not worth it for beginners honestly.
aged channels
these are channels that have been around for 5+ years on the platform
they have a higher trust score with youtube so they're less likely to get shadowbanned.
the algorithm recognizes them faster and usually gives them a push at the start.
they're pretty affordable too (around $5-15)
you still gotta warm them up just like a fresh channel tho
now in theory this type of channel is the best one, but in reality, they are seeing higher shadowban rates right now…
so I wouldn’t recommend them
fresh channels
these are the brand new channels that 99% of people start with
they're free
the algorithm is clean which means there's no previous content messing with your reach,
and you're not at risk of getting punished for whatever happened on the channel before
these fresh channels are actually performing the best right now
as long as you set them up correctly on an old trusted gmail account and warm them up properly…
you're good
so definitely don't spend your money on a monetized channel as a beginner
cuz you're better off spending that money on creating more content and getting more uploads out there.
and go with a fresh channel on an old gmail cuz it’s free and it's working better than aged channels right now
That's all for today
