and I'mma show you an example of a video that got 3.9 million views with below average editing

you ready?

so first why editing is NOT as important as you think

truth is: your topic matters way more than your editing

you could hire a $100/video editor to make the most polished content ever

but if your topic sucks and no one searches for it, you'll get 100 views max 

on the flip side, if you pick a topic people actually want to watch, even basic editing will get you hundreds of thousands of views

now yeah, having well-edited videos might help you grow a bit faster

but it's NOT mandatory to make money

especially when you're just starting

it's way smarter to start with a niche that doesn't require complex editing

learn all the other important skills first:

• finding viral topics

• writing good scripts

• making clickable thumbnails

• crafting strong titles

then later when you have more money and experience, you can level up to more edited content if you want

but you don't need to start there

the channel "Sleepless Historian" got 3.9M views on one video

at the 38 minute mark it's literally just a BLACK SCREEN with the capcut logo showing

and before that he/she just had some images stitched together

this video probably made $20K+ and the editor was clearly half asleep

some channels making $50K+ per month have this exact level of editing

so if they can do it… why can’t you?
