How to Go From 0 to $5K With YouTube Automation [Part 2]
How to pick a niche
alright, yesterday we covered how to pick the right niche
today we're talking about how to actually go viral
cuz if your videos don't get views, you're not making any money
now most people think going viral is some lucky thing that just HAPPENS…
like the algorithm randomly picks you, and makes you the next mrbeast
but after helping hundreds of students start channels from scratch, I can tell you it's way more predictable than it looks
there are just certain things youtube rewards
and if you stack them properly, your chances of going viral go way up
once you crack the views, money is just a byproduct
that's what happened to arturo who made $27K in one month
matyas who made $15K in his first 45 days
reed who went from $0 to $15K/month
they figured out how to get views consistently, and the money followed
and that’s what I’mma show you today…
now before we dive in, I didn't want you to miss this
we're running a black friday offer on the coaching through the 28th
($1K off + some secret bonuses).
spots are filling up way faster than expected, so if you're thinking about it,
so let's break down exactly what matters:
1. use a channel youtube already trusts (avoid shadowbans)
okay so first thing you need to know about is shadowbans
basically when youtube thinks your channel is a bot or spam, they don't completely ban you
they just... don't show your videos to anyone
your video gets uploaded, but it won't show up in browse or suggested
it'll only show up if someone directly searches for it
which means you're stuck at like 10-50 views per video no matter how good your content is and this is one of the biggest reasons new channels fail
now here's how it happens:
you make a fresh gmail and a fresh youtube channel on the same day and immediately start uploading faceless videos
youtube sees that pattern and goes "yeah that looks like a spam bot"
so they shadowban you
instead, here's what you should do:
use an older gmail
use a personal channel you've actually used before
warm it up: watch videos, like stuff, comment, subscribe to creators
you're just showing youtube you're a normal user, not someone trying to spam
2. start with the angle
this is probably the biggest factor in going viral
people who blow up aren't the ones with the best videos
they're the ones with the best IDEAS for videos
before you make anything, you should:
look at the top videos in your niche
study why people clicked on them
find the angle that made those videos take off
create your own version with a unique twist
if the angle is strong, the rest becomes easy
if the angle is weak, nothing saves the video
3. make your thumbnail stupidly simple
beginners overcomplicate this
thumbnails should:
show one idea
be easy to understand at a glance
focus on one emotion or one strong visual
avoid clutter, tiny text, and 30 things in the frame
people scroll fast
if your thumbnail isn't clear in under one second, they won't click
and if they don't click, the algorithm won't test your video
just keep it simple
4. write titles that create instant curiosity
once your angle is set and your thumbnail is simple, the title just has to do one job:
create curiosity and promise a payoff
good titles don't try to be clever
they're just clear and intriguing at the same time
your job is to:
set up a question in the viewer's mind
hint that the video will answer it
keep it clean and easy to read
when angle + thumbnail + title all work together
CTR (click through rate on your video) goes up
when CTR goes up
youtube gives you more impressions
more impressions = more views (more money)
5. make longer videos
longer videos naturally keep people on the platform for more time
and youtube pushes creators who keep viewers watching
it's that simple
when youtube sees your viewers are staying on the platform for a while:
they keep recommending your video to more people
you start showing up in suggested
you get more watch sessions
and that compounds over days and weeks
6. funnel viewers into more of your content
this is one of the easiest hacks that will get you more views over time…
just:
link your next video in the description
use playlists to group similar content
use end screens
add a pinned comment recommending another video
this keeps people inside your channel watching more of your stuff
and same as last point…
when youtube sees you're not just getting views but keeping viewers on the platform, they recommend you even more
a lot of channels blow up purely from this
7. stay consistent long enough to find what works
this is the part most people underestimate
everyone wants to go viral instantly
almost nobody wants to post 20-40 videos to gather data
but that's literally what successful channels do
consistency lets you:
test 20+ angles
collect real CTR/retention patterns
see which style your audience responds to
double down on winning formats
build stable growth
channels that "suddenly" blow up were posting consistently long before that breakout video
so to recap everything:
to go viral you need:
a trusted, warmed-up channel
a proven angle people already want
a clean, simple thumbnail
a curiosity-driven title
a longer video that holds attention
a funnel that leads viewers to another video
consistent uploads until you find your breakout format
that's the entire VIRALITY game
tomorrow I'mma show you the exact AI workflow I and my student use for turning ideas into finished videos
(we gonna talk about: scripts, voiceovers, editing etc…)
talk soon
